Purchasing and Logistic Manager – Nigeria. Sogea Satom operates in about twenty African countries (South Africa, Tanzania, Morocco, Madagascar, Cameroon, Gabon, Kenya) and employs about 15 000 people including 700 expatriates from 23 different countries.
Under the supervision of the Equipment Manager, the Purchasing/Logistic Manager will be responsible for:
-Forecasting and managing the internal demands for products that meet the sites needs
-Organizing the operations of importations and the local operations
-Managing temporary admissions
The purchasing/logistic manager will interfere directly with the headquarters and will be in charge of identifying local suppliers, negotiating local contracts and validating them.
The position require:
-A technical or commercial diploma including a specialization in logistic
-A first experience in the purchasing field
-Good ITC skills
-An additional knowledge in finance and administration management, in transportation and customs procedures
-A first approach of the African Continent will be a plus.
