SENCE is looking to hire Technical Operations Manager for one of its client. Sence is a reputable agency managed by Mrs ibok who doubled as the founder and CEO of SENCE. A lawyer and HR specialist with a passion for innovation and SMEs.
Roles and Responsibilities
The objectives of the Technical department are to
•Ensure proper installation and maintenance of generators sold by Company Ltd
•Ensure quality service delivery of all maintenance contracts held by the company
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintenance and Installation
•Install and maintain all generators sold by Company
•Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
•Provides maintenance services that will generate referrals for new maintenance contracts
•Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services
•Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs
•Manages technical resources to ensure they are within budget and project schedule
•Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
•Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects
•Confer with management and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
•Tracking projects, Conducting performance reviews
Customer Relationship Management
•Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements;
•Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
Marketing and Sales Support
•Calculating client quotations and administering client accounts
•Meeting regular After-sales targets
•Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
•Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
Human Resources Management Support
•Assist HR Manager to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
•Scheduling staff assignments
•Providing training and producing support material for team members.
•Preparing reports for Management
•Preparing monthly budget of engineering supply needs and provide a copy to technical support and management.
•Preparing a daily report on service jobs done and provide in quadruplicates to technical support, finance and admin and sales.
•Prepare a weekly report on utilization of engineering staff hours.
•Preparing weekly reports comparing target stated above to actual jobs done.
•Undertake such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as from time to time may be required, in consultation with Management
•Work and attend evening and weekend events and meetings as related to the duties of the post as agreed with Management.

Education and Experience
Candidate should have a University degree/HND in Electrical/Electronics/Power Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution. A Masters degree and/or NSE certification will be an added advantage. A minimum of 8 years relevant experience is required, 3 of which must have been in Management level

Report Writing – Write reports to the Managing Director on a Monthly basis
Work experience A minimum of 7 years experience 3 of which should be in a managerial capacity
